The Woody Guthrie Coalition, Inc. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization of
volunteers dedicated
to preserving the legacy and music of Woodrow Wilson Guthrie (1912-1967).
Each
year in July we produce a five-day music festival in Okemah, Oklahoma to
honor their favorite native son.

Picture Taking at WoodyFest
As a result of 2010-2011 festival feedback we are asking that views of the stages not be blocked, photography guidelines – for members of the media as well as others - have been adopted. In a nutshell, we’re asking that all photography take place from the side aisles of the daytime venues so that views of the stages are less impeded. We hope to enhance everyone’s enjoyment of the festival by emphasizing courtesy – of both performers and audience members - when taking pictures. The photo pit at the Pastures of Plenty will continue to be limited to approved media. Thank you for your cooperation! |
