"Hoot for Huntington's"
Woody Guthrie Folk Festival Hootenanny
(No Admission ~ Donation's to Huntington's Appreciated)
~Before you pack up and head for home, be sure and join us for our Fifth Hoot
for Huntington's show. This little shindig has ended up being one of the hits
of the festival weekend, and we can't think of a better way to send folks
down the road. The festival performers will sign up during the weekend to
do a couple of songs for the show, so you never know who might show up until
you get there on Sunday. Terry "Buffalo" Ware is our hootenanny
guru and heads up the house band for the show. As with our other festival
concerts from Thursday through Saturday, this fun event is free...but donations
for the Huntington's Disease Society would be appreciated. We know you'll
enjoy the music, and ask that you please give freely to the folks who are
doing so
much in the fight against the disease that took Woody Guthrie far too young.~
