Wanda Jackson, the First Lady of Rockabilly and a pioneer in rock and roll music, has enjoyed a career spanning nearly 60 years. With a string of Top 40 hits, Jackson was twice-nominated for a Grammy Award and has shared the stage with Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis and Johnny Cash. Jackson was one of CMT's 40 Greatest Women of Country Music and in April 2009 she was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in the Early Influence category. She currently resides in Oklahoma City and is a member of both the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame as well as the Oklahoma Country Music Hall of Fame.
